However, “it” can take on the shape of its surroundings if the impact is strong. At first, “it” was a sphere. Then “it” mimics the shape of a rock. When the temperature drops and snow falls on the moss, "it" inherits the moss. When a wolf is injured, alone to the point of limping and lying down to die, "It" takes the form of the animal. Eventually, it gained consciousness and began traversing the empty tundra until it met a boy.
